Food was great for lunch! The hibachi and sushi was excellent and fresh. It was busy enough (because it is delicious) that even the buffet style serving was entirely freshly made every time you went to the serving stations. Our server, Haley, was on the ball, entirely excellent and very personable. Perfect family atmosphere!

Yelp fam! If you are in the Fort Lauderdale area, make this a destination!! It basically has everything you could conceivably imagine in one location. Fresh sushi, oysters, crab legs, proteins , carbs, hibachi station, and whatever else your taste buds fancy! The staff are like a legit hive of bees constantly moving and grooving. They clear, they check in, they chef it up. What's not to love?! It's just like the nearby ocean, super laid back, and peaceful, yet driven like a solid surf day. I can describe, but you've got to experience it for yourself! To those who know, no explanation is needed. To those who don't, none will do! Bon appetite!

During my Miami trip I decided too do a Seafood Buffet review. Miyako is my 2nd stop of this trip. Miyako has some of the freshest seafood. Regrettably, the Tuna that was served tonight was frozen from the pinkish look. But that should not stop you from coming and trying all the other wonderful and fresh options. The food was presented well and stocked quickly once the tray was low or empty. They are well staffed and table service was acceptable and they always checked if you were still breathing! Lol! Will definitely come back next time.

Honestly I did not know what to think. a Sushi Buffet? I was honestly incredibly surprised. Great selection rolls, nigiri, sashimi as well as a bunch of other items. There was great hot food, though personally I was not impressed by the duck. That said, it was the ONLY thing that I didn't truly enjoy. The service was great and attentive. Overall a great experience

It was great to come back to Miyako after a few years of absence. The weekday lunch is now $18.99 pp and guests have 1.5 hours to enjoy the AYCE buffet. I found the flavors this time, bolder and better than last time. Maybe they have a new chef. The variety of dishes and sushi was very good and the service was attentive as well....our server picked up the plates minutes after we would set them aside. Overall a great option for fresh sushi, salads, Chinese food, Hibachi, desserts and much more...

I never grab a picture when I'm here since I'm busy eating. I think this restaurant is one of the greatest place for it's value. $30-$32 for unlimited oyster, crab leg, sushi, and habachi is unheard of imo. Yes since it is unlimited, the quality migjt not be the best, but it's all you can eat so you shouldn't be expecting top notch to begin with, and for the $ you pay, I would say it's more than good enough. I don't come here too often, but every time I come, I leave satisfied. All the servers are very quick and the restaurant is maintained clean.

I've had the pleasure of visiting Miyako Japanese Buffet twice, and each time, I was greeted warmly and seated immediately. On my latest visit, which was on a busier Tuesday night, the experience was just as delightful. The buffet offers an impressive variety. From sushi and fresh fruits to a selection of vegetables and a hibachi grill where you can have your meat and veggies grilled right before your eyes, everything was fresh and flavorful. My family enjoyed every bite from their plates, and it's clear that this restaurant takes pride in maintaining high-quality offerings. Our waitress was attentive, checking in three times during our visit, and the ambiance was very comfortable. The lighting is dim, TVs are on, and it's a relaxed setting no matter where you sit. You can tell the atmosphere is enjoyed by every family in the room. My only note for the future would be to avoid having oysters followed by crème brûlée--lesson learned, but nothing that took away from the overall experience! I highly recommend this buffet to anyone looking for great sushi or a fulfilling meal. Definitely a 10/10 for me!

My friends and I really enjoyed our experience here. The sushi and seafood were fresh. Some of us went back 5-6 x for more crab legs or sushi. I called a day before to make reservations. When we arrived our table was already ready. I enjoyed the nice selection of nigiri, sushi rolls and sashimi. They had even the ponzu sauce. I knew this experience was going to be great. The restaurant has a large seafood counter in the middle. In the far back they have Asian fusion dishes, hibachi station on the left and a dessert bar between the sushi and hot food. The restaurant was clean and the staff worked well together. The hot food and sushi were constantly being refilled. Our servers were great with the drink refills and cleaning our team. Highly recommend making reservations prior to coming if you have a big party.

Let me start off by saying I think this place is beautiful. Hope this experience can help you as you plan your events. I planned a gathering for 28 people here today 11:30. I confirmed again the day before. The manager promised me the room would be ready for us and he would give us 2 hours to eat. We arrived promptly at 11:30 before the doors opened. The room they gave us was the busy one by the kitchen. The table was not ready. Tables were not moved or setup. The employees were eating at the tables they wanted us to use. We didn't get seated until 11:50 because they were not ready and even then I had to put the silverware at the seats myself. There was one extra table in the corner we didn't use and she seated 2 strangers there immediately. They were quite nice and didn't mind being part of our party but it was odd. By 12:30 the server already brought me the check and to make it easier for them we put the entire check on one card. Then as anyone got up from their seats to greet their friends, she started seating people there before we left. We were a bit rushed to say the least. This was a group of older friends with disabilities. Youngest being 50. We ate in less than an hour. Everything was good and our server was very nice but one hour and ten minutes was not enough time for a large group.
